REPUBLIC Collective has announced a multi-year worldwide partnership with New York-based ZIZA Inc., the company founded by entrepreneur and Malsons Ventures CEO Shivam Malhotra. The collaboration will see the launch of ZIZA Records, a new label dedicated to developing and scaling South Asian artists and music catalog on a global level.
The joint venture aims to operate at the intersection of South Asia and major international music markets, focusing on diaspora-driven talent, catalog development and audience growth across regions. The label will work to identify and nurture emerging artists while creating new opportunities for South Asian music to reach listeners worldwide.
The announcement comes amid the rapid rise of Malsons Ventures, which has emerged as a significant independent force in the South Asian music ecosystem.
Under the agreement, ZIZA Records will prioritize signing and developing artists from the South Asian diaspora, particularly those with growing audiences in North America, the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia and the Middle East. The label will also focus on expanding catalog opportunities through global distribution, marketing initiatives and sync licensing.
Beyond artist development, the venture plans to explore opportunities across brand partnerships, live experiences and cross-market collaborations, creating a broader ecosystem for artists and rights holders.
