The 6th edition of the NCPA Mumbai Dance Season will showcase over 32 events and 100+ artists, celebrating India’s rich dance heritage. Featuring performances, workshops, and discussions, the festival spans various venues, from Colaba to Navi Mumbai.
The season opens with Maharashtra’s folk dances (Naman, Waghya Murali, Koli, Dhangar) curated by Nivedita Mukherjee (Odissi) and Manisha Jeet (Kathak). The finale on February 2, curated by Malati Agneeswaran and Jayashree Rajagopal, highlights classical dance traditions blending heritage and innovation.
