As the announcement of Season 2’s four Super winners approaches, Nexa Music is gearing up to announce the results. The NEXA Music platform, a first-of-its-kind initiative, promotes aspiring Indian musicians to showcase their talent and create original, international music.
The NEXA Foundation has been a key element in finding and promoting up-and-coming artists for many years. Throughout the year, the top 24 finalists have shared their songs with the world, and the audiences have loved them all. Considering the close competition among the artists, audiences await the announcement of the Top 4 Finalists eagerly.
It features Shor Police, Monica Dogra, Mickey McCleary, and Uday Benegal along with the Music Maestro A R Rahman. The Top 24 contestants were selected from over 2400 entries received. As a result of the 24 contestants, only 4 have been shortlisted to be named Super Winners 2.
They will each have the opportunity to make an additional new music video with songs composed by Mickey McCleary, a world-renowned music producer and composer.
Commenting on the participants, A R Rahman said,
“You want to give it to all 50-60 but you can’t, it’s heartbreaking to take somebody off. You think to yourself, why can’t we keep them all but when you weigh out characteristics, when something sticks out and has its own personality that’s very good, and they have musicality and that they are being themself and not pretending to be someone else. It’s fascinating to watch them achieve these things because they have set high standards for themselves and are learning how to present them. These kids are so aware and so good I think everybody is a winner.”
