Jhulan Yatra – Charms of central Calcutta

The word CALCUTTA has an inlaid charm! Agree? Disagree? Whatever is your impression of this city, come with us on a unique curated walk to delve deeper into the layers of this old city and the old areas. We assure you of an enriching experience. An experience which can never be seen on other days of the year. Yes, we will walk the lanes, bylanes and streets of the central part of the city on the day of JHULAN YATRA. Our walk will take you to some wonderful Thakurdalans of the wealthy Bengalis, help you experience some live classical music by the ustads and pandits (subject to the event being organised), help you to see the spectacular idols of Radha Krishna and explore this old part of the city for some interesting facts.

The tour will be led by Avijit Dhar Chowdhury from Kolkata Explorers (a division of Green Step Tourism)
