POET'S CORNER

ENIGMA

ENIGMA

The sun is in the constellation
Shines brighter than the rest
A loner in the crowd
Supports life and always at his best

The crowd was at its peak
Blurring images, monotone
When she zipped past me
The meteor blazingly shone

Words were her medium
Lost were her eyes
Trying to find a meaning
To the madness… truth or lies

Donned with an effervescent smile
And a penetrating gaze
Looking for the real you
Piercing you in to a daze

She spoke sensibly about the child in her
The woman in her began to smile
The girl in her, coy like a bud
Still waiting to bloom in a while

Our paths changed and we were lost
Only to meet at a glance
The boy within me out on a vacation
Not wanting to lose a second chance
