Rapper, Designer, and Artist-friendly entrepreneur Kritagya Sharma AKA KRITAGYA
is a 24-year-old artist based in Delhi, India. KRITAGYA is the brains behind the
hip-hop collective known as Gali Hip-Hop. He has also been organizing hip-hop
meetups & events such as the Delhi Hip-Hop Meet since early 2017. Creating music
since 2017, the artist first got inspired by the likes of J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar &
T-Pain, & wants to create an impact by expressing what he feels, much like the ones
he got inspired by.
Kritagya has built a multi-faceted career, redefining what it means to be an
independent Indian hip-hop artist.
Born and raised in New Delhi, Kritagya made history in 2017 when he became the
first 18-year-old to organize
the biggest hip-hop meet in the city with support from Delhi Police and brought
together the soon-to-be fan favorites
of the Indian rap Scene. —collecting a lot of co-signs and shoutouts from Raftaar,
Seedhe Maut, Yungsta, MC Kode
for the initiative to bring the culture together.
His career began with the release of his 2021 mixtape “Glowing Mixtape”
which was celebrated as an Instant classic and was appraised by Rohan Cariappa,
followed by the 2022 release of Dur 2, which garnered over 150k+ streams.
His first major brand deal was with the Iconic Indian milkshake brand Keventers.
The Pan-India campaign ”K.O.A.T.” brought attention from different age groups and
demographics to Kritagya
and his music. The moment was celebrated as a win when a song released
independently
inspired and helped a 1000cr Indian brand to start a campaign and connect with
GenZ audiences
in the Independent music scene.
Now Kritagya has released his most ambitious project which is his 4th mixtape
containing 22 tracks titled “GLOW DELHITE” which took around 2 years to
complete and paints Delhi in its anthemic sound.
The lead single “RUKUNGA NAHI!” got a co-sign from Charlie Heat, a
Grammy-nominated music producer
signed to Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music. Who said the single is “Fire.”
