FRIENDS
Those days I do recall, when I could never miss a ball
Yes those days with a job, when I never did sob
My pockets were filled, with cash I was thrilled
Friends were so many. As long as there were pennies
So friendly they seemed, that I got all too soon creamed
Drinks like Fenny, Arrack and Rum, was all that they needed
Finally I am emptied, friends hardly there are any
Cause money has vanished, so the drinks I have banished
Far away from my home with hardly any room
I think of my friends who forgot me so soon.
