The iconic filmmaker Pradeep Sarkar’s sad passing away last Thursday marked the end of an era.
Ask any 90s indie pop music lover and they’ll tell you what a hold Euphoria’s ‘Dhoom Pichak’ had on everyone. Pradeep Dada, as the Euphoria’s frontman Dr. Palash Sen, often called him, was the master behind that groundbreaking music video.
According to Sen, that song “changed the way people looked at music in India.” And it was all possible because of Pradeep Sarkar.
It’s with a heavy and grieving heart that we face the fact that the director that ruled countless hearts will no longer sit behind a camera and say “action!”
