Percept ICE, a division of Percept Limited specializing in Special Projects, Events, and Experiential Marketing, emerged victorious at the prestigious Experiential Design & Creativity Awards (EDCA) 2023 held on April 29, 2023, in Mumbai.
The company secured two awards in the categories of ‘Best Set Design – Physical Corporate Event’ and ‘Best Use of Technology – Special Event’ during the inaugural edition of the event.
In the highly coveted category of ‘Best Set Design – Physical Corporate Event,’ Percept ICE was recognized for their exceptional work on The Artisan Awards 2022. Created for the Gem and Jewelry Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), the event centered around the theme “The Collectors.”
The set design showcased exquisite jewelry pieces associated with three iconic women from the early and mid-1900s. The use of monochrome tones and subtle floral arrangements effectively conveyed the grandeur of the bygone era, while Wine, Salmon Pink, and Rose Red colors were strategically employed to represent the unique personalities of these three icons within their respective themed display areas.
The Stage Area featured an alluring dark backdrop embellished with sparkling starry spotlight projections, complemented by glamorous gold panels that added a touch of opulence. A magnificent acrylic panel podium, illuminated with the event name, served as the perfect centerpiece for this dazzling set design.
Percept ICE also clinched an award in the contemporary category of ‘Best Use of Technology – Special Event’ for their innovative Snapchat Tech Engagements. One highlight of this endeavor was the creation of the ‘Snapchat AR Mirror Wall,’ initially unveiled at the Sunburn Festival Goa and later reimagined at the Lollapalooza Music Festival.
This installation provided users with a unique and unforgettable ‘Snap-Worthy’ moment, surpassing the limitations of a mere smartphone. Guests were able to capture the most iconic snapshots of the event using bespoke filters exclusively accessible through the installation. The mesmerizing AR Mirror Wall, bathed in the distinctive Snapchat Yellow color, attracted attention from afar, captivating the crowd visually.
This impressive installation paid homage to the universally relatable experience of the ‘Mirror Selfie,’ effectively showcasing Snapchat’s prominent position in the realm of Social Media and engaging the target audience in an interactive and immersive manner.

The first edition of the Experiential Design & Creativity Awards witnessed participation from over 70 agencies and an impressive 600+ entries. To honor the brilliance of the event industry, EDCA introduced a unique “UNconference” concept, facilitating networking, learning, showcasing, and celebrating creative excellence.
The Festival of Innovation encompassed Masterclass Circles led by industry leaders, Experience Zones showcasing the industry’s leading brands, delightful culinary experiences at the Food Farm, culminating in the grand star-studded finale of the EDCA Awards!
